Gundam Arche (GNW-20000)

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The Arche Gundam is one of the tallest and widest Gundams ever built, standing head-and-shoulders over the majority of other Gundams. Arche Gundam was tuned specifically to Ali Al-Saachez's preference for close quarter combat, its only ranged weapons designed for support. Its tall, lanky appearance belies its enormous agility and combat capabilities in melee combat.
Arche Gundam's armaments and design was carried over fromGNW-002 Gundam Throne Zwei. The unit features a pair of foot mounted GN Beam Sabers, as well as a GN Shield. Both theGN Buster Sword and GN Shield are docked on the arms of Arche Gundam and the former can quickly slide forward into Arche's grasp. The sword itself secretly doubles as a GN Beam Rifle, which can be deployed by transforming and revealing the gun within the mid-section of the sword; it was a rarely used feature. The GN Shield also possessed the ability to unfold its clavicle antennas and deploy a beam shield.[1]
In close-quarters combat, Arche Gundam is capable of using its foot sabers and Buster Sword to hold its own against multiple opponents at once. The long slender arms give Arche Gundam greater reach against targets in melee combat. The unit also possesses a Core Fighter that can function as an escape unit in emergency situations. Unlike the mobile suits used by Innovators, the Core Fighter does not carry the solar furnace with it during escape. The escape unit is powered by aGN Condenser for propulsion instead. It does, however, carry its head along on the core fighter (as shown in Episode 15 of Season 2). The Arche Gundam doesn't have the Trans-Amsystem, the Innovators never enhanced the unit beyond its original design.

Against difficult foes the Arche Gundam can deploy a total of ten GN Fangs from the Fang containers on its hips. The GN Fangs possess a small GN beam emitter that can either be used as a small beam gun or beam dagger. The GN fangs are not particularly powerful weapons, only able to inflict light damage against an enemy mobile suit, however they are quite dangerous en-mass. The true purpose of the fangs is to use their small size, speed, and numbers to overwhelm enemies, leaving them open to the Arche's swords.

Novitec Rosso

Novitec Rosso, located in Stetten Germany, is a tuner of Ferrari vehicles. The company is a branch of the larger Novitec tuning company that specializes is modifications for other Italian marques such as Fiat and Alfa Romeo. In 2007 Novitec also spawned Novitec Tridente, an arm of the business dedicated to Maserati tuning.
Novitec prides itself not in flashy cosmetic modifications but in performance oriented parts that improve the way Ferraris brake, handle and accelerate. In 2004 Novitec unveiled their first project: a twin-supercharged Ferrari 360 which made 565 hp (421 kW), up significantly from the stock number of 400 hp (298 kW).
The second Novitec Rosso project was to twin-supercharge the Ferrari F430. Novitec has released several versions of the car with an original 636 hp (474 kW) model and later with an upgraded 707 hp (527 kW) model. In an article in the Nov/Dec issue of Modified Luxury & Exotics magazine the author said after driving the car that, "It’s a humbling experience to drive a car that can outperform your own desires, but it’s not without its rewards."[1]
At the 2007 Essen Motor Show, Novitec Rosso unveiled modifications for the Ferrari 599 and announced that they will be working on asupercharger system to increase the car's performance from the already substantial horsepower output of 620 hp (462 kW), to nearer the 900 hp (671 kW) mark.

Gundam Throne Drei (GNW-003)

Technology & Combat Characteristics

Among the three Throne units Drei serves more of a support role in combat to the other two Throne units. Throne Drei is a supplier of GN particles, its able to attach itself to GNW-001 Gundam Throne Eins with a wire to enhance the beam output of its GN Launcher. Its GN Stealth Field, which deploys three huge pairs of GN particle wings over a wide range, is a powerful ability possessed only by this unit; its red wing-likeGN Tau particle dispersal are similar to the green particles emitted by the GN-000 0 Gundam. In addition, it can also disperse GN particles from its stealth field emitter to defend itself from enemy projectiles. The particle consumption rate of its equipment are lowered in order to help use the stealth field.[3] Unlike the Throne Veranus and the GN-X series, the Gundam Thrones do not need a special start-up machine in order to activate their GN Drives due to the fact that they possess their own compact start up mechanism on-board.[

Gundam Throne Zwei (GNW-002)

Technology & Combat Characteristics

Like the other Thrones, Zwei is based on a common chassis. Minor changes are made to both the structure and avionics systems to Zwei so as to fulfill its function in Team Trinity's battle doctrine: medium to melee range combat. The primary weapon is the massive GN Buster Sword. Even without GN Particles increasing the weapon's cutting ability, sheer mass, combined with Michael Trinity's berserker-style piloting made for punishing attacks. Because the designers anticipated that Zwei would often be outnumbered and surrounded, they elected to incorporate a remote weapon system, the GN Fangs. Michael would typically deploy the Fangs in one of two ways, either to overwhelm a single opponent, or to offset a numerical disadvantage by engaging multiple threats. In either case, Michael would take advantage of the confusion and close in for the kill with the Buster Sword. That is of course assuming that the target survived the Fangs. A claim only a few GN-X or Gundam pilots can make.
After murdering its pilot, Ali Al-Saachez would go on to use Zwei in a slightly different style. Ali would typically employ all eight Fangs, whilst Micheal would typically use six, keeping two in reserve, to weaken a particular target. Once the enemy was softened up, he would use his superior close combat skills to finish the opponent personally.

Gundam Throne Eins (GNW-001)

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The first unit of the Gundam Thrones series, which are each specialized custom versions of the same mobile suit design.[2]Of the three Throne units, the Throne Eins is mostly a mid-to-long range fire mobile suit. The Gundam Thrones also employ more advanced version of GN technology than of Ptolemaios's Gundams, such as a more advanced internal particle distribution system as well as a more compact GN Drive Chassis technology that were not adapted by the Ptolemy team until the 3.5 and 4th generation Gundams. It is said that in terms of orientation, Eins combined both the characteristics of both the range of Dynames as well as the firepower of Virtueinto a single unit.[2] Eins would often fire the GN Rifle for short-to-mid range attacks and firing the GN Launcher for mid-to-long range attacks. While similar to Dynames, a long range tactical MS, it is not a sniper. Eins' "GN Launcher" has a more powerful feature called GN Mega Launcher, which basically more powerful and more particle consuming. Since Eins doesn't have an unlimited supply of GN particles due to its GN Drive Tau, Eins is largely dependent on Drei for transferring compressed GN particles in order to use it this feature. With both Zwei and Drei linked together, Eins is able to use it's most powerful attack, the "GN High Mega Launcher". Unlike the Throne Varanus and the GN-X series, the Gundam Thrones do not need a special start-up machine in order to activate their GN Drives due to the fact that they possess their own compact start up mechanism on-board.

Gundam Virtue (GN-005)

Technology & Combat Characteristics

A 3rd generation heavy arms Gundam made for its Innovadepilot, Tieria Erde. Unlike the other Gundams, Virtue was designed to be an anti-ship combat mobile suit as opposed to an anti-mobile suit one.[1] The current adaptation of Virtue is also known as the "Particle-Type" which contrasts another variant design considered that is known as the Physical-Type, distinguished by the their main type of armament. One of the main reasons for the development of Virtue was to keep its true form, GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh away from the front lines.[1][2]

Initially, the Physical-Type was the preferred type for the final design due in part to the bloc's lack of particle weapons, as well as the fact that the condenser technology[3] development at the time was not sufficient enough to allow Particle-Type's heavy usage.[2] Due to this and other factors, the development of both Virtue Types were the slowest.[1] At some point, both Virtue types went through much combat testing with other Gundams and in the end, Veda made the decision to choose Particle-Type as the final form of Virtue mainly due to its compatibility with other Meisters in the data.[2]
This decision was not well received by the technicians who preferred the Physical-Type due to its ability to fight betrayers(likely with GN Field ability) with its physical weapons and put much more urgency on the completion of the solid GN blades as well as Exia's pilot with the role of fighting traitors.[2] The idea of using both types via changing of equipment was considered but ultimately rejected by Veda due to insufficient manpower as well as the possibility of the common point(Nadleeh) of both equipment types being spotted by the enemy.[2]
The cockpit's interface allows Tieria to communicate with Virtue via quantum brainwaves primarily to discard its armor and use the Trial System as the Gundam Nadleeh; it's unclear if there are additional abilities that Tieria can utilize in its Virtue form. At more than twice the armor volume of any other Gundam, Virtue's firepower and defenses are unmatched among its contemporaries. Virtue relies on its overwhelming firepower to destroy its enemies from mid-to-long range, with almost no capabilities in melee combat. Because Virtue's GN Bazooka requires a recharge time after each shot, it depends on its armor and GN Field for protection while recharging.
Should opponents attack Virtue while recharging, it can still attack using its dual GN Cannons; these same countermeasures are also Virtue's greatest weakness. While the GN Bazooka can be fired through the GN Field, the GN Cannons can't, requiring Virtue to drop the field while it fires. Its bulky mass, heavy armor, and weaponry also makes Virtue a liability in close-range or high-speed combat. When overwhelmed by a formidable unit(s), Virtue can purge its armor to become GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh for more general purpose combat. In addition, Nadleeh also doubles as an escape mechanism[4] as is the norm for the Plutone lineage.

Gundam Dynames (GN-002)

Technology & Combat Characteristics

Classified as a third generation Gundam, the GN-002 Gundam Dynames is a artillery-type MS that specializes in long-ranged sniping and the successor of GNY-002 Gundam Sadalsuudand the predecessor or GN-006 Cherudim Gundam. While the unit retains similarities to Sadalsuud, Dynames is different than its predecessor.
Dynames retains strong design aesthetics to Sadalsuud, almost twin-like superficially. However, Sadalsuud wasn't designed for advanced combat, it was designed for infiltration and scouting. Although Dynames inherited its sensor technology through Sadalsuud, the majority of the sensors was removed and replaced with armor plating and weaponry during its creation. Ironically, Sadalsuud can search and detect targets of interest far beyond what Dynames can do. To compensate for sensory limitations, Veda and Celestial Being's CIC team provides tactical data through their own systems to support Dynames in combat.
Dynames is largely a counterpart to GN-001 Gundam Exia. While Exia is themed heavily on melee combat, Dynames is the opposite. Dynames' weapon-of-choice is its GN Sniper Rifle to provide mid-to-long ranged fire support. As its primary armament, Dynames is almost exclusively used as a support sniper, taking up a well-hidden position(s) and dispatching targets from afar while Exia draws the attention and fire of the enemies. If forced into short-ranged combat, Dynames switches from the rifle to its GN Pistols, wielded and used gun-kata style. In very short range, Dynames prefers to use its GN Missiles, using its beam sabers only as a last resort[4]. While Dynames is focused on sniping, the unit was also designed to utilize a series of special equipment to adapt to various missions.
For specialized long range precision firing (though rarely used), Dynames has a special particle rifle, which it is capable of firing on orbital targets from the ground, the Super Substratospheric Altitude Gun. To prepare for shooting alone, the pilot needs to connect the weapon to a large GN Condenser and network with other computer systems to make the necessary calculations for accurate shooting. Because the blast is very powerful, Dynames' rear is connected to one of Kyrios' Tail Unit as a stabilizer to absorb the shock of the discharge. It takes roughly 30 seconds to recharge for the next shot.
Dynames can change equipment for the Torpedo Pack. The equipment is specialized for surface-to-underwater assault missions. To enhance Dynames' sensors, a sonar system and goggles are equipped for extended sensory capabilities underwater. The sniper rifle is replaced with a torpedo launcher as particle weapons are weakened in water.
When extreme firepower and defense is needed, Dynames can receive combat support from its own specialized support unit, the GNR-001D GN Arms Type-D and the Assault Container. The GN Arms itself is a customized transformable fighter, with mid-range beam weaponry and melee weapons themed after Dynames' weapons silhouette. When greater power is needed, Dynames and GN Arms can combine to become a mobile armor. Dynames' GN Drive docks right into the MA to power the weapons platform.
The Assault Container works on conjunction with the GN Arms and Dynames as a miniature armed MS carrier. It was designed to dock both Dynames and GN Arms for atmospheric entry and exit missions. It's heavily armored and has enough fire power to decently fight a United Nation Army battlefleet. Dynames' overall capabilities can be enhanced through the power of Trans-Am.
Dynames would later be succeeded by GN-006 Cherudim Gundam. While Dynames itself was critically damaged in combat, there was still spare replacement parts to rebuild Dynames. Due to Celestial Being being short on resources, engineers would later return to Dynames for a systems overhaul to modernize its systems and combat capabilities; it was categorized as GN-002RE Gundam Dynames Repair.
